The goal during the development of the Cressi Defender Anti-Cut Dive Gloves was to bring to the dive market a high quality, great fitting and well priced Level 5 cut resistant glove for the spearfishing, commercial and recreational scuba diving markets. This glove is ideal for those hunting for crays, abalone and scallops. They are also great for spearfishing, plus for fishermen as a grab and filetting glove.   

The 2mm thick Cressi Defender Anti-Cut Dive Gloves are made from High Performance Poly Ethylene (HPPE), a material that provides the hands with superior protection from cuts and abrasions. The finger reinforcement is made from a dual rubber coating, which works as a non-slip finish and facilitates a sure grip in all situations.

The Cressi Defender Gloves are also able to achieve the highest score possible in abrasive resistance during the CE testing procedure. These amazing results were achieved using a High Performance Poly Ethylene (HPPE) material in the base construction of the glove. The glove is then dipped in an anti-slip, flexible and hardwearing Nitrile coating which provides long lasting additional abrasion protection, dexterity and amazing grip in almost any environment. This protective coating runs up the palm, over the top of the nails and down the sides of the fingers giving all over protection. Flexibility, lightweight and comfort are optimal.
